DEBORAH MEADEN POPS IN FOR A CUP OF TEA…

LILONGWE WILDLIFE CENTRE NEWS: Big thanks to Deborah and her husband Paul who kindly squeezed in a visit to LWC this morning, moving their flights especially to see us. Deborah is most famous for her business success and her role as a dragon on Dragon’s Den. She also did pretty well in Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. Not so well known is her activism and passion for wildlife conservation and welfare. She is a patron of Tusk Trust who sponsor our education programme and she came to find out more about Lilongwe Wildlife Trust for herself. There was a chance to see our education team in action who were delivering our new wildlife crime module to Mkwichi school learners, and also to have a quick tour of the sanctuary. Sadly there was so much to see and talk about that our tea went cold! We hope she has a chance to come back for a proper brew on her next visit.
