GRYSBOK RELEASE: BYE BYE BRUNO!

Last week we said a happy goodbye to Bruno the grysbok, as we took him to his new wild home at Kuti Wildlife Reserve! Bruno arrived at LWC in September, coming all too close to the prevalent bushmeat trade. Our team have been working on his rehabilitation since then, and last week transported him to Kuti where he is currently having a stopover in a release enclosure. The Kuti crew are keeping an eye on his progress as he adjusts to lots of new sights and smells, before opening the doors for him to explore the real wilderness. We cannot tell you how incredibly rewarding it is to see these animals return to the wild, where they belong… Bye Bruno – best of luck!
