Responding to a Facebook appeal, some of our followers kindly donated the costs to put on a Christmas party for a local orphanage. Incredibly, thanks to their overwhelming generosity we received much more than we expected and were able to provide 173 children from two local orphanages with a fantastic Christmas Party filled with games, activities, a tasty lunch of rice with chicken stew and, of course, a tour of the sanctuary to meet all of our famous residents! As you can see from the photos, all of the children had such a great time!
We also received donations in the form of clothes, learning  materials and toys which we distributed as Christmas packages between both orphanages. So, a great big Thank You from everyone at Lilongwe Wildlife Centre for making it happen!
