This study followed rehabilitated Temminck’s pangolins after their release into the wild in Malawi, using satellite and VHF tracking to better understand how they adapt and establish home ranges.
This case study follows an adult Temminck’s pangolin presenting with flaccid paralysis caused by severe hyperkalaemia linked to kidney dysfunction. Further research is required to establish the prevalence of renal disease and hyperkalaemia in confiscated pangolins.
