Our work

Biodiversity research

We conduct monitoring and research to fill critical knowledge gaps on Vulnerable and Endangered species. Our insights inform wildlife conservation strategies nationally and regionally.
In the past year
96
animals of threatened species monitored each month
300
sightings of five vulture species recorded
5k
camera trap images captured in protected areas

Our priorities

Biodiversity monitoring

Monitoring ‘species of special concern’ in Liwonde National Park, including lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs.

Post-release monitoring

After rescuing and releasing pangolins back into the wild across Malawi, we monitor their movements and safety.

VULTURE RESEARCH

Protecting the region’s fragile vulture population by addressing critical knowledge gaps.
