We’re delighted to announce two new on-site partners at Lilongwe Wildlife Centre!

Maravi Bakery will be opening a new café at the Centre in the coming months, featuring a selection of coffee, croissants, sandwiches, salads, juices, smoothies, specialty food and more! The restaurant site is currently under renovation – we’ll announce an opening date soon.

“We’re excited to bring our selection of artisanal food and drinks to the beautiful location of Lilongwe Wildlife Centre. We couldn’t miss this opportunity to revamp this beautiful space to a modern yet minimalist venue. The people of Lilongwe city are in for a treat with a one-of-a-kind coffee house in a one-of-a-kind location,” said Maravi owner Adam Gaffar. “We believe our emphasis on local and sustainable ingredients fits perfectly with the Centre’s ethos and values.”

We’re excited to enrich the visitor experience of this iconic venue in the green heart of Lilongwe

We’re also delighted to welcome the Visual Arts Association of Malawi (VAAM), who are now open at the Wildlife Centre reception! VAAM coordinates and supports visual artists across Malawi.

“We look forward to enriching the visitor experience at this iconic venue in the green heart of Lilongwe,” said VAAM Vice-President Lawrence Dingiswayo Daka.

A wide range of art and traditional crafts from Malawian artists will be available to purchase.
