LILONGWE WILDLIFE CENTRE NEWS:Â Being nocturnal we haven’t seen much of our resident hedgehog, Sonic, who arrived in June. But, after months of popping food into his enclosure, we finally caught a glimpse of him when he was rooted out for a mini health-check. It seems all the food and water has done him the world of good and, as you can tell from the before and after shots, he’s grown into a healthy ball of spines! He’s in such good shape we’ll be releasing him into the sanctuary grounds in the next couple of days. There he can make friends with the rest of the hedgehogs that call it their home. Good luck Sonic!
