COLLARING A LIONESS

Amanda and the WERU team travelled down to a wildlife reserve recently to help replace the satellite collar of one of the lionesses. This particular lioness had two super-cute 1 year old cubs! They remained close during the procedure and were happy to reunite with their mum after she woke up.

Everyone hopes that she will be pregnant again soon and a satellite collar will help managers monitor her for any births. Fingers crossed!
