The time spent with the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust has genuinely been some of the most fantastic months of my life, from the incredibly kind employees to the beautiful setting and, of course, the diverse and interesting nature of the work itself.
I would genuinely recommend the Wildlife Justice Internship to anyone. No two days were the same and whilst it had its challenging aspects it was such a rewarding experience that I consider myself incredibly lucky to have been a part of. I was treated as a professional from day one, which really helped make me feel like I was truly part of their intricate team.Anyone who enjoys getting thrown in at the deep end will definitely thrive in this environment but never once did I feel too intimidated to ask questions or request help. The members of staff would do almost anything to help you where they could and the employees at the office are genuinely some of the most kind and helpful people I have ever met. In short, jump at the experience if you have the opportunity to go! I didn’t regret a single moment of it.
